Easy Shrimp Dip

It's creamy and lusciously cheesy, with the taste of dill and everybody's favorite seafood seasoning, Old Bay!

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ¼ cup diced onion
  • 1 pound small cooked shrimp (peeled and chopped)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 dashes hot sauce
  • ½ teaspoon dried dill
  • ½ teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (shredded)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook onion in 1 tablespoon butter until tender but not browned, about 5 minutes.
  3. Beat onion, cream cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, hot sauce, dill weed, old bay seasoning, and garlic powder with a mixer until fluffy.
  4. Fold in shrimp meat and ¾ cup of the cheddar cheese.
  5. Place in a small baking dish and top with remaining cheese. Bake 18-22 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Broil if needed.
